highly cheerful and helpful family owners. great to sleep only a few feet above the water. complete peace.. it was like i was on a cruise! great food. the place is partially under construction and being made of wood on a pier is a little rickety (theyre building an addition) - but it's sleepy all day and is a place to completely unwind and chill. worth every penny. if you're nice, they may even let you borrow the kayak for a spin to isla solarte :)).

What's not to like? Luis and his entire family treated us like we were one of their own. This is not a hotel. It's a second home. We spent a lot of time getting to know all of them. Our trip was very relaxing and enjoyable. This is a very clean place and accessible from Bocas Town by a short boat trip ($3 per person or so).

After meeting with some "Basti " community leaders and Representative Ashburn, we sat down to lunch at the Restaurant Caribbean View. Since there were six of us, we were able to sample a number of items from the menu. We had fresh tuna, burgers, tacos and a number of side dishes, including delicious patacones! The food was great, wonderful value, well-prepared and graciously served by the proprietor...

Had a fantastic time here!! We wanted a place away from super crazy party of Bocas, with AC, private, clean rooms. We got that and a family run place full of love and smiles and dancing. Even in the midst of some renovations, this place is a cute gem. And next time, I WILL make it on a full day tour from Luis.

We had an absolutely great stay at Caribbean View! It's a family run B and B, and it was wonderful to see the whole family helping out. The view is absolutely amazing, and the room itself is clean and sizeable. Food here was delicious! We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it.

Nice place with friendly hosts. Good restaurant. There is a nice boat guide that works at the place. I would highly recommend Bastimente island over Colon. There are no cars on the island. It is more laid back and more scenic.
